Happy canada day folks, We have two stocks going to pay a special dividend this week if we get on their record. they are IVX and CVG.
IVX will pay 10 cents on July 11 2024 if we get it on or before July 3rd, 2024 while CVG will pay10 cents as an ordinary dividend with a special dividend of .7016 cents on July 26th, 2024 with an ex-div date of July 5th 2024.
I personally take extra caution when the company pays a special dividend. Will analyze it before buying it for the special dividend. please do your own DD
apart from that, in this week's future more stocks are paying dividends including JP Morgan, cisco, and AGF, from the financial side and from the consumer staple side dollarma, ATD is having a July 5th ex-div with my personal favorite stock VBNK as well. where AGF got their ex-div on 4th
scotia is paying a dollar and 6 cents per share on 29 with the 3rd of July as ex-div along with Winpak paying 3 cents on July 12 with the same 3rd as an ex-div date
And there are 38 more stocks have July 2nd as ex-divs with the list like LB bank, Evertz Tech, and Algoma Steel are the companies, and the rest are ETFs from Vanguard and Mackenize
